Impermeable geomembrane​ is an advanced synthetic liner engineered from high-performance polymers like HDPE, PVC, or EPDM to provide an impermeable barrier solution. These flexible yet durable sheets are specifically designed to control fluid migration and prevent contamination across critical applications.

Modern geomembranes combine engineered durability with cost-effective installation, offering service lives exceeding 30 years in many applications. Their versatility makes them indispensable for civil engineering projects requiring assured fluid containment and environmental safeguarding.

 

Key Characteristics

  • Good flexibility
HDPE Geomembrane has high tensile mechanical properties. Its excellent elasticity and deformability make it very suitable for expansion or contraction of the base surface. Effectively overcome the uneven settlement of the base surface.
  • Corrosion resistance, aging resistance
It has excellent chemical stability and is widely used in sewage treatment, chemical reaction tanks and landfills. Resistant to high and low temperature, asphalt, oil and tar, acid, alkali, salt and corrosion of more than 80 strong acid and alkali chemical media.
  • Lower Permeability
Geomembranes contains not less than 94% of pure polyethylene polymer and a balance not higher than 3% of carbon black, antioxidants and thermal stabilizers.
  • Chemical Resistance

  • High mechanical strength
