Geotextile Geobag’s Description
A Geobag is a high-strength, permeable container manufactured from engineered geotextile fabrics. It is designed to be filled with locally available soil, sand, or slurry on-site. Geobags serve as versatile, flexible, and cost-effective building blocks for a wide range of civil engineering and environmental protection applications, offering a modern and sustainable alternative to traditional

Durability & Strength: Woven from high-tenacity polypropylene or polyester yarns, geobags offer exceptional tensile strength, puncture resistance, and UV stability, ensuring long-term performance in harsh environments.
Permeability: The fabric filter allows water to freely drain from the filled bag, promoting consolidation of the fill material while preventing the buildup of harmful pore water pressure. This also helps in trapping fine particles and preventing soil erosion.
Flexibility & Adaptability: Unlike rigid structures, geobags are flexible and can conform to uneven subgrades and settle without cracking. This makes them highly effective in dynamic environments like shorelines and riverbanks.

Palm oil filtration
The Geobag dewatering operation is simple and does not require special equipment that the POME treatment facility is not already using.
Coastal Protection
Development activities in the shoreline, alongside erosion, marine storms may lead to destructive effects on objects.
Sludge Dewatering
For smaller applications, geotextile tubes dewatering sludge produced in wastewater treatment process.
Mining, Mineral Processing
Mine tailings, coal sludge can be managed, handled cost effectively with geotextile tubes dewatering technology.
Environmental Remediation
In many cases, sediments pose significant environmental hazards, and remediation is a difficult expensive task.
Agriculture
With Geobag dewatering technology, you can effectively manage waste from animal feeding operations while also controlling odor.

geotextile geobag
Geotextile geobags (also called geobags, dewatering tubes) are large, high-strength containers made from permeable geotextile fabrics. They are filled with slurry (e.g., sediment, sludge, or contaminated dredged materials) to separate solids from water through filtration and consolidation. Or filled with sand for coastal protection projects.
Sludge Dewatering Treatment
The volume of sludge can be reduced by more than 90%, and it contains a higher proportion of solid content, making it easier to remove and process. Separates solids from sludge or dredged material.
Revetment, Breakwater
The embankment core filling geobag breakwater is a breakwater made of new materials. It forms a kind of breakwater by filling the geobag with sea sand. Not only saves the construction cost of the breakwater, but also makes better use of environmental resources, and can well meet the construction and functional requiremenrs of the breakwater. Acts as submerged barriers.
Land reclamation
Geotextile tube bag dewatering technology can dehydrate the bottom mud gathered in river, bays seaports, wharves, ports and docks to project the environment. Creates barriers for sediment control.
