Geobag Dewatering are a reliable, versatile, and eco friendly solution for dewatering. They offer many benefits over traditional methods and can help to effectively manage and remove excess water from construction and excavation sites. If you are looking for an effective solution for dewatering, consider using geotextile tubes as an alternative.
Dyke
Geobags are used for protection dykes, where they prevent flood and storm damage to valuable structures. They can also used for river, lake works. When geobag protection dykes are constructed, always it is covered by local soil. Thereby ensuring no damage caused by activities and long term sunlight exposure. Once geobags are used for river or lake works, it is always leave them exposed except for major structures, where rock armour layers may be placed over it to dissipate hydraulic forces.
Industrial Waste
Many industrial processes produce waste which is stored in waste ponds on the industrial site. Over time these ponds fill with waste sludge, and have to be cleaned to continue function. A common method of these waste reclamation is to dewater the waste sludge using geobag dewatering technology from ponds and dispose of it in landfill or use it for other applications.
Agricultural Animal Waste
Chicken, Cattle and Pig farms produce large amount of waste, which is commonly stored in retention ponds. Over time there ponds are filled with sludge, and they have to be cleaned out periodically. Animal waste is more fine than sewage waste, it normally has to be treated with coagulate and flocculate to ensure colloids and nutrients are contained within the geotextile tube during dewatering.
Food Processing
Food processing produces large quantities of slurry waste, which comes from manufacturing process such as Potato Processing(washing and skin waste), Cheese Processing, Wine Processing and etc. Slurry waste stored in sedimentation pond and need to be dewatered periodically.
Municipal Waste
Most municipal sewage treatment plants store the generated sludge in ponds. Geobags are used extensively for dewatering sludge from these containment ponds. The effluent water is normally back to the ponds, and solids disposed of elsewhere. For the limited space available, many customers use small size geobag, which can put into ‘rectangle steel box’ and can be easy moved by truck. It is also called MDS dewatering system.
Mine Sludge
Small tailings, which are close to population or environmentally sensitive areas. In many cases the tailings have to be dewatered first before they can be rendered stable and inert. These sludges can be effectively managed with geobag dewatering technology.

Dewatering Bags (Geo Bags) are sediment filter bags that are perfect for pumping and filtering sediment laden water. The product is commonly used on construction sites, wastewater treatment plants and job sites to control the amount of sediment or pollution from leaving the site. Dewatering Bags provide a simple yet effective way of removing heavy particles from water before allowing silt free water to be released from the bag.
Dewatering Bags are available in a range of sizes: small 1.5m x 0.5m, pallet size 1.2m x 1.2m, medium 2.5m x 1.5m and large 6m x 4m with custom sizes available for manufacture. The pallet size bag fits on a standard size pallet for easy removal of waste. Dewatering Bags can also be referred to as Dewatering Socks, Dewatering Tubes, Geotextile Bags or Silt Bags.
Product Applications:
Small to medium excavation sites.
Pump outs of standard water.
Aggregate wash down.
Product Features:
Used for pumping and filtering sediment laden water.
Varying sizes to meet onsite requirements.
1.2m x 1.2m pallet size bag fits standard size pallet for easy removal.
Double thickness neck for added strength.
Double stitching for added strength.
Geotextile Tubes Sludge Dewatering
Rivers, harbors, marinas, ports have been collecting contaminated sediments for many years. In many cases, these sediments pose significant environmental hazards, and remediation is a difficult and expensive task. Geotextile tubes with larger or smaller sizes can be accomplish this mission effectively and reducing their volume dramatically and saving thousands in disposal costs.
. Easy operation
. Dramatically cost saving
. Reduce volume up to 90%
Sludge Dewatering Tubes
Mine tailings, coal sludge can be managed and handled cost effectively with sludge dewatering bag. Because they can be custom sized to the application, they can be placed in available space between other structures, and removed once dewatering is completed. Sludge dewatering tubes is a cost effective alternative way to mechanical processes. It reduces disposal cost by consolidating higher solids with very little maintenance.}
. Dramatically cost saving
. Stack to save lot of spaces
. Easy operation
MDS Sludge Dewatering Tubes
MDS dewatering system is designed for smaller applications or small areas. Geotextile tube unit of 10 or 12 m3 capacity, dimensioned for standard containers, allowed the dewatering of sludge produced in the wastewater treatment process of industry. Sludge dewatering tubes assures an high reduction of the sludge volume to be managed.
. Easy operation
. Dramatically cost saving
. Reducing sludge volume up to 95%
